Dominic represents both individuals and businesses, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.  Availability and responsiveness are necessary to building a strong attorney-client relationship and Dominic works hard to ensure that he is available 24/7 for his clients in order to obtain favorable and cost-efficient results. 

Dominic has extensive real estate litigation experience including easement and boundary disputes, encroachments, lien and ownership disputes, quiet title and partition disputes, subrogation and title and escrow disputes.  His real property and land use transactional practice includes leases, purchase transactions and commercial/residential subdivision work. 

In addition to his real estate experience, Dominic represents individuals and companies in a variety of business disputes including corporate litigation, shareholder and member disputes, contract and franchise disputes and landlord-tenant disputes.  Dominic also serves as general counsel for corporate clients.

Dominic has been recognized as a Northern California “Rising Star” by the Northern California Super Lawyers from 2014-2019.

Representative Cases

In his decade of litigation experience, Dominic has taken multiple cases through trial, arbitration and appeal and practices before state and Federal courts in California.  Representative cases include:

  • Represented a multi-national franchisor in a lawsuit brought by a franchisee for fraud, breach of contract and violation of the California Franchise Relations Act, alleging more than a million dollars in damages. We obtained summary judgment on all claims.

  • Represented a large financial institution and obtained summary judgment against a development company which sought to foreclose on a vendor’s lien against a Lake Tahoe resort which arose out of a multi-million dollar purchase agreement.

  • Obtained summary judgment for a client against his neighbors who sought to extinguish an unrecorded access easement over a portion of the neighbors’ property.

  • Prevailed at trial in San Francisco County Superior Court and defeated an attempt to secure a prescriptive easement over his client’s commercial property.

  • Obtained judgment after trial in San Joaquin County Superior Court and perfected a lender’s security interest in property, defeated a debtor’s attempt to void a deed of trust and recovered an award of attorneys’ fees and costs.

  • Prevailed at trial in Alameda County Superior Court and perfected an $800k lien secured against the plaintiff’s property.

  • Obtained summary judgment against a bicycle group claiming a public dedication over a private road in a private Bay Area community.
